Buildings Officer – Lothian and Borders
General Trustees
Salary: £49,350 - £54,600 per annum
35 Hours per week
Based within the Presbytery of Lothian and Borders with flexible working available
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Officer to join our existing team of buildings professionals within the General Trustees of the Church of Scotland. This role will play a key part in supporting Presbytery of Lothian and Borders as they look to assess, record and monitor the conditions use of their buildings and help congregations plan and prioritise their fabric repairs and improvements.
The successful candidate will be RIAS, RICS, RIBA or CIOB (or equivalent body) qualified (chartered) with at least 3 years post qualification experience within a large and complex organisation. They will also have strong interpersonal skills with excellent skills in leadership, interpersonal relationships, negotiation and persuasion.
