Estates Manager

I am recruiting for an Estates Manager with a background through Local Authorities. The council are looking to bring someone on for an initial 12 month contract, with the possibility of further extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and maintenance of public estates, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for land use, development, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including community groups, contractors, and government agencies.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise service delivery.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
• Promote community engagement and participation in estate management initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in estates management, property management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of local government policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS)
