A local authority in Scotland is seeking an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor for a 9-month contract. The role can primarily be done remotely, with occasional on site visits as needed. key responsibilities include:

- General estates management across the council's property portfolio.

- Handling lease renewals, ensuring terms are favourable and align with market conditions.

- Conducting rent reviews to maximise income from the council's assets.

- Managing property disposals, including valuation, marketing, and negotiating processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public sector estates management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work independantly. A RICS qualification would be favourable, but not necessary.
