I am working with a Local Authority in the North West to recruit an Interim Property Assets Manager for a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension at the client's discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will oversee strategic asset management, ensuring the Council's land and building portfolio is effective, cost-efficient, and supports both current and future service delivery.
- They will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Council's Asset Management Framework, including developing and implementing the Strategic Asset Management Policy, Strategy and Plan, as well as service-based asset plans and strategic property reviews. Building credibility with senior leaders within the Council and externally will be essential.
- This role will also contribute to the commissioning and execution of the Capital Programme related to land and property, collaborating with various teams across the Council.
- Additionally, the individual will manage Property Data Management systems to facilitate evidence-based decision-making and track the performance of the property portfolio.
Pay Rate: £650-750 per day (experience depending)
