We are currently working with a firm in Manchester, who specialise in commercial property, residential property, the public sector and construction. They are looking to recruit either a Senior Surveyor or Associate, depending on experience.

 

As a Senior Building Surveyor you will be responsible for promoting the firm’s services and developing existing client base's. This includes managing projects and mentoring recently qualified and graduate employees, ensure services provided are managed effectively in line with clients, and all reporting requirements are done in line with the firms policies.

 

OR

 

As an Associate Building Surveyor you will be responsible for projects as well as managing the team, using business development skills to generate fees and assist in the growth of the team. You will have a direct client liaison and be responsible for developing and expanding the existing client base and professional contacts - this will help to promote the firm’s services within the property market and eventually aid with expanding the client base across sell services.

 

 

The work will primarily be in Manchester/West Yorkshire.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building Surveying duties.
  • Undertaking a full range of services to an extensive and varied client base.
  • Mentoring others to promote high standard across the company.
  • Project Management and Team Management.
  • Be able to grow client base and promote firms business.
  • Report writing.

 

 

You must have the following requirements/attributes:

  • Relevant degree and MRICS professional membership.
  • Experience working in a Surveying practice and have the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Able to provide a Complete Property Service to our clients, delivering on both quality, turnaround & cost effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain up to date knowledge of the firm’s products, services and processes to deliver excellent client care.
  • Comfortable with travel and able to manage projects in the West Yorkshire region.
