Senior Building Surveyor

Consult Construct Ltd are seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor 

We have recently been appointed on two large frameworks in Kent and London and are recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor with strong experience to work alongside our existing Building Surveying team at our Faversham office.

Working in both private and public sectors, our projects include refurbishments, new builds, and extension projects offering a variety of interesting work.  

Our clients' portfolios include Local Authority properties, Care Homes, Block Managed properties, Offices, other commercial premises, and Listed period properties

Although this position will be based at our head office in Faversham we also have satellite offices in Bromley and London, which are available for ad hoc remote working.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Undertake a variety of surveys and site inspections.
• Act as Project Manager
• Project design and Specification writing (NBS)
• Produce Feasibility Reports
• Preparation of tender documentation
• Contract Administration
• Undertake site visits, attending/chairing meetings, as required
• Professional matters, including, but not limited to Party Wall Matters, Acquisitions, Condition Surveys, Dilapidations etc.
• Review and sign Certificates and Notifications of Payment for other Surveyors.
• Ensuring client invoices are raised
• Support junior staff with the other Senior Building Surveyors

Essential Requirements

• Possess or be working towards MRICS or equivalent.
• Track record strong experience in a commercial Surveying environment.
• Be self-motivated, with a strong team working ethos.
• Possess excellent communication skills, at all levels, both verbally and in writing
• Able to ensure timely delivery of high-quality service to our clients.
• Possess excellent computing skills, work in an organised and methodical manner, with a high level of accuracy, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.
• Strong Report writing skills.
