This role could be exactly what you are looking for.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated professional to contribute to the ongoing growth of our Rural Land Management and Rural Building Surveying teams in Scotland. This role focuses on the maintenance, improvement, and compliance of various rural assets, including agricultural buildings, residential properties, commercial facilities, and infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and tracks.

You will manage diverse projects, from energy performance upgrades and repairs to agricultural building electrics, to integrating renewable technologies and repurposing traditional structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and improvement works, including residential renovations, agricultural upgrades, and infrastructure repairs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and the wider land management team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety practices and procurement processes.
  • Provide expert advice on repair works, energy performance measures, and conservation techniques.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and enhance our consultancy offerings in Scotland.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in managing repairs and maintenance of residential and agricultural buildings.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and construction standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Desirable:

  • Relevant formal qualifications or professional accreditations.
  • Experience with CAD/design software.
  • Practical on-site experience in construction or related trades.
  • Knowledge of building conservation and sustainable practices.

What We Offer

Join a supportive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment that values diversity and innovation. We provide:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Comprehensive learning and development opportunities.
  • A culture of inclusivity and shared success.
