Currie & Brown is currently looking for an enthusiastic assistant project manager for our Edinburgh office to support the continued success of our Scottish regional office. The successful candidates will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Responsibilities:
Delivering the services as set out by the service division and terms of commission appointment
Supporting the team leader/service leaders in the management of projects
Maintaining effective communication and working as a proactive team player to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects
Supporting development and improvement of service and project delivery plans
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients and stakeholders to form strong working relationships
Undertaking and monitoring relevant project control, reporting and administration in accordance with the Currie & Brown business management system (especially national quality standards for the services provided)
Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements:
Experience working on public sector projects, including healthcare buildings
Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external)
A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
Degree/diploma in a relevant discipline
Technical qualification in project management or similar preferable
Membership of APM/CIOB beneficial
Experience in project management
