STFC is under-going a period of extensive development.  We are developing our sites, at Harwell (RAL) and Daresbury, in order to expand our scientific capabilities and attain our strategic vision to maximise the impact of our knowledge, skills and facilities for the benefit of the United Kingdom.

The expansion of our scientific facilities, through our development work, will secure our position as an outstanding scientific organisation, capable of producing world leading research, innovation and skills.

Through the provision of cutting edge science facilities, we can attract the best academic partnerships, support interdisciplinary research, foster industrial collaboration and economic growth, as we encourage business development in our exceptionally diverse scientific community.

Your role, in our reputable capital development team, will be pivotal in securing our future vision.  You will have direct input, through the planning, oversight and management of our intricate construction work, in creating the facilities which will support the crucial scientific, research and technological advances that will ensue.

We are a highly motivated and energetic team, results driven but also focused on best practice.  We are also friendly, supportive and believe in developing our talented staff.  We offer a wonderful working environment with a benefits package designed to provide an excellent work/life balance.
